When I was approached by the people at Bellesa to promote their exclusive signature line of sex toys, I was excited, but apprehensive if it was right for my audience. So I did what anyone with a very solid fanbase would do, I asked you guys if you were interested in me doing sex toy reviews, and the response was overwhelming. 74% of you guys said you’d be interested in me talking about and reviewing sex toys. So if you’re interested in getting anything from the Bellesa line, use the promocode SABRINA10 to get 10% off of your purchase!

It may come as no surprise that I am a big proponent of self care. When I decided to clean up my life a few years ago, I had to go back to square one and figure out what my most basic needs were. I didn’t have it in me to deal with dating or having to deal with a partner because all of my energy needed to go back into myself. But also, I am a sexual person with needs so I decided to stay out of sexual relationships while I pieced my life back together. This meant I plan to forego sex altogether or I’d be masturbating. Clearly, I chose the latter. Thanks to my two year sex sabbatical, I got pretty familiar with a lot of different sex toys. I guess what I’m saying, is I needed to be a qualified expert, then this is the easiest way for me to show my credentials.

I got to choose the vibrator I’d get to review from Bellesa’s Signature Line. They had some really pretty toys available, but the Khali really piqued my interest. It said it had a “powerful and voluptuous clit and G-spot vibe,” and I honest to god wondered what the hell that meant so I ordered it in purple, and considered it a tribute to the late, great Prince. About a week later, my Bellesa box arrived at my front door. It was discreet as any dumb thing I have purchased online.

But the fun began once I got it inside and opened the cardboard box. Inside was a Bellesa chapstick, a white baseball hat with the Bellesa logo and the pièce de résistance, wrapped in purple tissue and adorned with a sticker with the Bellesa logo on it. In terms of presentation, Bellesa’s is some of the best I’ve received. There’s nothing gross or seedy about the packaging or it’s contents. Everything is very luxurious, even the tiny coffin-like box, which housed the Khali was really nice. I really appreciate this detail because I started buying sex toys before you could just go on Amazon and load up on sex gear. I am from Los Angeles, and you’d have to go to a kind of creepy sex shop, that felt gross and weird and the toys were all packaged in tacky plastic boxes and marketed to men, even if they were for women.

After the Khali was charged, washed and I finally had a chance to get a really good look at it, I was pleasantly surprised by the material. It’s a soft, body-safe silicone that felt smooth as it looked. The shade of purple was as though Prince himself blessed it. Not only that it had a seriously interesting shape that was even better looking in person. The Khali has a girth of 4.3”, a length of 7.5”, and an insertable length of 4.75”, and can easily give Dirk Diggler a run for his money (is that a dated joke??? Jesus. I am old). Anyways, if you’re like me and a girth lady you will not be disappointed. The seashell shaped tip fits inside beautifully.

The Khali was incredibly powerful and I got off super easily. It took me a second to figure out the button situation that controlled the 7 stimulation modes. If you hold them too long it turns off the vibrator and if you press them too many times it turns off the vibrator so you have to restart the cycles. If you’re the kind of person who likes to switch things up in the middle, this could be problematic for you, but it’s more of a note than anything. I dunno if I cared for the bunny ears either tbh. I just moved the tip of the powerful head up to my clit and that did the trick better than the ears could have.

At $129, the Khali is not joking around, but it’s a fair price for the job it does. Any vibrator I have ever purchased that’s half as good as this, I’ve paid around the same amount of money.  I was really pleasantly surprised with not only Bellesa’s products but their assortment of free, female positive pornography. I ended up going through their website and appreciated that it wasn’t the same kind of male-centric porn women have been subjected to since the beginning of time. If you’re a porn person or even wondering what’s available in terms of female positive porn, really give their website a try. Being a woman and being able to be sexual as a woman in a safe and positive way is one of the glorious mysteries still afforded American women. And I welcome you to enjoy your body before the powers that be try to put an end to that pleasure.
